Phlebotomists are skilled in blood draws for tests, transfusions, and research. This program is 3 months of hands-on learning in the classroom and clinical practice. It is then followed with an internship to prepare you for recommended certification testing.

Qualifying reading assessment score via the Accuplacer exam in the Hennepin Tech Testing Center, 或者证明考试豁免资格的成绩单. (See below for further instructions on the test scheduling and test waiver process).

Proof of Immunizations - Documentation from a medical professional for the following immunizations must be presented at the time of registration:

- Hepatitis B (3-Part Series: First shot must be done before registration and the final shot must be completed by the time the clinical portion begins)
- 水痘/水痘
- 破伤风白喉百日咳混合疫苗(Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis)

- Background Check: Minnesota Law requires that any person who provides services that involve direct contact with patients have a background study conducted by the state. An individual who is disqualified from having direct patient contact as a result of the background study, 而生署署长并没有取消其资格, will not be permitted to participate in a clinical placement in a Minnesota licensed health care facility. The college will withdraw any student who is disqualified by the Minnesota Department of Health. The student is responsible for requesting the Commissioner to reconsider the disqualification.
